Fat Burners or Exercise For Fat Burning?

December 16th, 2007 · No Comments

If you are one of those people who think that is it okay to take a fat burner, then settle down on the couch with a bag of chips and the remote control, think again. Losing weight requires effort on your part. There is nothing wrong with taking a fat burner, but if you do not couple the use with regular exercise, the struggle to lose weight will be a long hard one.

The purpose of a fat burner is to increase your metabolism so that your body will convert stored fat into energy and use it up. Your body will never run out of excess fat if you are not putting all that energy to good use. Sitting on the couch flipping channels just means that a good bit of that energy will simply settle right back where it was before.

You don’t have to go to a gym to get a decent amount of exercise. Put on a comfortable pair of shoes and take a walk around the neighborhood. Thirty minutes of walking will help make good use of the raised metabolism, and result in using up some of that stored fat. Plus you can’t create new fat if you are away from that bag of chips.
