Natural Fat Burners Ingredients

October 8th, 2008 · No Comments

With the popularity of natural fat burners on the market many people despite being wary of fat burners and diet pills are still giving fat burners a try. You must know what it is you are taking since these weight loss supplements come in a variety of brands and forms. These fat burners combine several interesting ingredients to form potent cocktails that will, in theory at least, cause you to lose weight faster than you would by using diet and cardio alone. But which of these ingredients really work and which are just a smokescreen.

Let’s take a look at carnitine, for example. Carnitine is an ingredient found in most natural fat burners and it claims to work  by shuttling fatty acids into muscle rather than letting your body store them as fatty deposits. And this is exactly what it does. The question is whether or not any additional benefit can be gained by using it as a supplement rather than getting what you need from your diet. Most scientific studies say there is no benefit.

Then, on the other hand, is mu huang, or ephedrine, which is a little more difficult to come by, but is one of the most powerful ingredients in the fight against fat. Most research shows that ephedrine is a quality natural fat burner, but there are disagreements as to how safe its usage is. Of course no weight loss regimen should be undertaken without a health care professional’s supervision even if it includes natural fat burners.
