When considering adding a fat burner to your diet and cardio regimen, you will face a choice of what type of fat burner to take. Now I’m not talking about brand names here, I’m talking about two entirely different kinds of fat burners and how they work in your system. The first kind is lipotropic fat burners, which work in the liver to prevent fat from metabolizing. The second are thermogenic fat burners, and the way they work is our focus in this blog.
Thermogenic fat burners, or metabolic optimizers as they’re sometimes called, work by raising your body temperature very slightly in order to induce a faster metabolism. With a faster metabolism, food and nutrients are burned more quickly, thus turning more of your food into energy rather than stored fat. The same concept is accomplished by exercising, but thermogenic fat burners can ensure your metabolism is cooking around the clock, so you’re burning fat even when you aren’t doing much of anything else.
The secret in finding a good quality thermogenic fat burner is to get one that will have all of the positive heat and metabolic effects, but leave out the jittery side effects that can come with many of the fat burners that utilize ephedrine and caffeine. Of course, every person’s sensitivity to these factors is different, so you may want to try a few to see what you can and cannot tolerate. As always consult your physician before undertaking any weight loss program.
